Reset Immersion for Mind, Body and Spirit

“I have been working privately with Linda for over 2 years. Each session is customized to my needs using a mixture of modalities. Her understanding of the body is outstanding.”

~ Thomas M.

Linda will utilize Mindful Alignment techniques to design a personal approach for resetting your mind, body and spirit. She will provide you with a tailored structure and path to reach your desired goals. During your one-on-one sessions, Linda will move you through a combination of meditation, breathing, and/or movement exercises (yoga, tai chi, Pilates, and body alignment – techniques based on bio-mechanical principles).

She will also support you by utilizing several techniques to release energy that may be stuck due to illness, stress, accident or everyday high-stress living.

The benefits of this program are:

  • More mobility, flexibility and strength whether you’re recovering from an injury or dealing with a painful medical condition
  • Increase in energy and reduction in stress
  • Improved focus and concentration
  • Deeper sense of relaxation and well-being
  • Renewed sense of life within your body

The elements of the Reset Immersion are:
60-minute assessment to determine where you are and where you want to go with your body and wellness

Investment: $100 (one-on-one session)

Deep Relaxation Meditation

“Whenever I get stressed, I remember the techniques Linda taught us during meditation class. These techniques help me stay calm and help me get thru the situation.”

~ Rose

This is no ordinary meditation program. This profound meditation is Yoga Nidra and is commonly called “yogic sleep”. After only 20 minutes of this deep relaxation meditation many people feel as if they have slept for three hours.

Whether for a group meditation or one-on-one with Linda, individuals rest comfortably on mats or in a chair as they are taken through a guided meditation created to release the clutter of your mind, the tension and stress from your body, reduce fatigue and improve awareness, focus and concentration.

As the participant simply relaxes and allows themselves to “be”, a deeper self-awareness is gained and a new sense of clarity is often experienced after a session. Unlike other meditations, this form of deep relaxation meditation supports profound awareness without the many hours of reflection often needed to reach this level of peace.

The benefits of this program are:

  • Allowing the opportunity for a window into self to create a more intimate, loving connection
  • Allowing the participant to release hidden or painful emotions with out having to relive the pain
  • It is a highly effective, yet simple, way to reduce stress
  • Creation of an instant renewal of energy
  • Creating a deep feeling of joy

The elements of Deep Relaxation Meditation are:
1 – 60-minute one-on-one session

Investment: $100 (one-on-one session)

Why Should You Move More

As we age we tend to slow down more and that does not support our mobility or reduce stress. During this workshop Linda discusses the three reasons why we ALL should move more and easy ways to get yourself moving.

Yoga Nidra

The Meditation of Relaxing or The Relaxation Technique

This workshop takes you through a guided meditation designed to help you de-clutter your mind, relieve tension and stress, reduce fatigue, and improve focus and concentration. Rather than performing physical movements, Yoga Nidra allows you to simply “be” so you can relax and gain self-awareness. You’ll be guided through a eight-step practice, including setting an intention for the session, a scan of the body’s 18 vital points, and passive observation. Many people feel 20 minutes of Yoga Nidra is equal to three hours of sleep.

Strong Bones & Balance

We require strong bones and balance for proper body alignment. Many people have pain and consequently have injuries because their bodies are not aligned. This also helps improve balance and keeps the bones strong. Proper alignment keeps your center of gravity where it should be for balance. When your body is aligned, the muscles work efficiently putting less strain on the bones and joints. The major way the bones stay strong is when load or the force of your body presses down on the bones. This only happens when your body is aligned.

All About Balance

How often you think about balance? It is a function that we count on every day in so many ways that we don’t even give it a thought. It not only keeps us upright, it allows us to walk without assistance and prevents injury.

There are several situations (both internal and external) that reduce our sense of balance. But there are a variety of things that can reduce our sense of balance. During this workshop, Linda discusses those internal and external factors and provides you with exercise to improve your balance so you can achieve wellness or fitness goals, reduce injuries and feel a total sense of well-being.

All About Balance - Senior

One out of every three adults over the age of 65 falls each year, resulting in approximately 250,000 hip fractures, 25,000 deaths, and countless hours of pain and limited mobility. Blending education and exercise, All About Balance shows you why the risk of falling increases with age, how to improve your balance, and how to make your living environment safer.

All classes are customized according to the needs and abilities of the participants.

“It feels great to be inspired to move all these old joints and keep them limber.”

~ Bernie & Harold

“All seniors should attend our balance class. The movements are beneficial for the entire body – for posture, for balance and to help prevent falls. Plus, we have fun.”

~ Helena Lee

“I get so much out of Linda’s yoga class. In fact, I get more benefit out of Linda’s class than I get from going to the physical therapist. Linda is very knowledgeable.”

~ Shirley
